SUNSET BREEZER

The Russian girl created a Talisman out of clay, skilfully painting it with tiny jungle scenes and a translucent glaze-a stunning object that intrigues and tantalises. Her ambitions and dreams have had to be abandoned since her accident, but she found a way to fulfil them, in a different way. As the Talisman is passed from one traveller to the next, e-mails and photos are sent back to her throughout its various journeys, showing her exotic places and people she might have met. Extraordinary events unfold as the Talisman touches different lives-raw human emotions of happiness, desperation, love and sex, hate and greed thread through the story as the characters each find their destinies. Travellers from Russia, UK, USA and South Africa reach the Caribbean, where the islands provide an exotic backdrop for strong passions and betrayals, but it's in Grenada where they all finally meet. The events that follow test them as they each face their own demons, relationships, and the greater forces of nature as the hurricane season starts in the Caribbean.
